Coconut Berry Smoothie Bowl – A delicious healthy smoothie bowl packed with antioxidants and protein and so quick and easy to make. Vegan, gluten free and delicious.
Man am I addicted to smoothie bowls. I love how you can eat your smoothie. It is so darn delicious and such an amazing way to eat healthily. Especially that delicious Matcha Peach Smoothie Bowl ;). I always make my smoothies for my smoothie bowls slightly thicker than I would a normal smoothie so that it actually feels like food. But my favourite part is by far how much fun one can have with all the toppings. I LOVE adding chia seeds because it gives it this yummy crunchy, filling texture. Chia seeds are generally the bomb!
The best part about smoothie bowls, other than looking beautiful and tasting AMAZING, is that they are super quick to make and oh so incredibly easy. You guys know how much I love my Nutribullet, because it has made my life so much easier. I don’t have to fiddle with finding pieces of a blender or fiddling with all the tiny finicky parts to get the blender clean. It is literally one cup and a blender, that’s it. So it makes it so much easier to be healthy, especially when you are as lazy as I am.
So this Coconut Berry Smoothie Bowl is not incredibly complicated to make. In fact all you have to do is place all the ingredients for the smoothie into you blender (a.k.a your Nutribullet), turn your blender on and watch it whizz up a yummy smoothie. Then you pour it into a bowl and get creative. This part is so fun, I love trying to make it pretty with all the awesome toppings. Probably because I like putting pictures of my food on my Instagram feed ;). You can really choose which ever toppings you want. Like I mentioned, I love adding chia seeds, and for this particular smoothie bowl I added some delicious shaved coconut to give it that extra tropical flavour. Then added some berries and BAM! You have an amazingly, delicious and healthy smoothie packed with antioxidants and protein. What more could you want right?
