A fruity smoothie recipe

So we will get to the smoothie in a minute, but first a little "not very exciting" life update. I've been grappling with what I should do with my life (as I so often seem to do) because some things that I had planned for 2016 have fallen through and have left my life a little empty and directionless.

So I have really struggled to get direction back and with that comes a lot of self-doubt and a whole lot of "blah" emotions (yes, that is my official explanation for my feelings).

Two layered smoothies with fresh berries and straws.

But instead of wallowing in my misery, which I can very easily do, I have decided to explore all the little things that I love so much. I'm giving myself a little time to just do everything and anything.

One of those things is pottery, I know a little strange right? But I love beautiful ceramics SO much and the idea of being able to make my own little jugs and bowls is just oh-so-appealing.

So I have recently joined a pottery class and have made a bowl...and also broken a bowl, and I absolutely LOVE it. It is somehow therapeutic, to just set there and focus on the piece of clay in your hands and turn it into something beautiful.

It is really awesome, and I hope I will be able to show you guys some of it one day, right now it probably isn't fit for human viewing.

Why you'll love this pineapple smoothie

Okay, let's get down to business. This Raspberry Pineapple Smoothie is the bomb. It is fresh, it is fruity and it is YUMMY!

It is pretty much the most perfect combo for a smoothie. Because who doesn't love raspberries and pineapple right? Combine them and you have the best darn smoothie you will ever taste.

What I love about this Raspberry Pineapple Smoothie is that there isn't much else in it other than the fruit itself. The only other ingredients are a little almond milk, some honey, and a frozen banana.

That's what makes it so awesome, it doesn't require a million ingredients and it is also super duper healthy. You can also try my Mango Berry Smoothie, for more deliciousness.
