Power Oat Pancakes are the perfect way to start every day. They are vegan, gluten free and packed with energy boosting goodness.
This morning was one of those days that I decided to embrace my laziness, so I slept in late and made myself a delicious, gigantic, stack of pancakes. I ended up having an extremely late breakfast, but it was totally worth it. These pancakes were just so scrumptious.
I love pancakes, flapjacks, crumpets (whatever you want to call them). They are just perfect breakfast food, but obviously it’s probably not the best idea to live on them (even though I really could). So these Power Pancakes are the solution to this situation. They are healthy and delicious! What more could one ask for of pancakes? They are packed with fiber, which will keep you fuller for longer. They are very low in fat and high in in protein. This is truly the best healthy gluten free pancake recipe I have every made. Yum!!
I think they are from now on my replacement for my boring bowl of morning oats. I made a big batch of power oat pancakes, and I have frozen them in small packets. This way I can just take out a packet each morning, pop them in the toaster or microwave them.
The pancakes mainly consist of Oats, Bananas and Almond Milk. All of which are powerful breakfast foods and will get you geared up for your day. Especially if you have more to do in your day than me… The bananas give you a good energy boost and sustain your blood sugar, which is perfect for if your about to take on a strenuous workout or a hectic work day. They are also high in potassium which helps protect you against heart attacks and lowers blood pressure.
There’s really no excuse anymore not to have pancakes everyday for breakfast!!
