I’ve been totally addicted and obsessed with peanut butter since I can remember. There was a time when I was a child where I literally lived on the stuff, peanut butter for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It probably wasn’t the best diet for a child, but hay that stuff is amazing.
When I started baking, it was as if a whole new peanut butter world opened it front of me, I was like Charlie in the Peanut Butter Factory. There were so many possibilities and endless variations with my favourite food. I have literally made and eaten everything peanut butter, and hopefully I will share them with you as I bake my way through tubs and tubs of peanut butter. I promise some (not all, of course) will be healthy, like the Peanut Butter Oat Cookies or my favourite post workout snack, the Peanut Butter Protein Bars. So do stay tuned folks ;).
So moving on from my slightly insane obsession. I decided it was time to venture out of my comfort zone, and into the big bad world of nut butters. Thus, we have this Creamy Vanilla Macadamia Butter. It is really delectable. Soft, smooth textures and flavours make up this nut butter, with only a hint of sweetness and vanilla. I was truly pleasantly surprised, especially because I had devoted myself to peanut butter. I think Macadamia Butter my have become my mistress and although I would never dare to leave good old peanut butter, I might sneak in a little Creamy Vanilla Macadamia Butter every now and then ;).
One of the things I am genuinely excited about after making this Creamy Vanilla Macadamia Butter, is to try out all the amazing recipes I could make and invent with Macadamia Butter. Mmm maybe a Macadamia smoothie or Macadamia choc-chip cookies… who knows.
