Two of my favourite things in life…Peanut Butter and CHOCOLATE!! Mmmm those flavours just work so well together. And you can pretty much make anything with them. You can make a delicious cake, some healthy energy balls or this amazing Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bread. Whatever you make using chocolate and peanut butter ALWAYS works out well, there is just no going wrong.
I haven’t always been a huge banana bread fan, but after making that simply delicious and moist Pecan Banana Bread I am hooked! I love the almost chewy moist texture of banana bread and the subtle sweetness it offers. And a little chocolate and a little peanut butter to it and you have pure perfection!!
This Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bread is beautiful, in looks, texture and taste. It is pretty much the whole package. As if it couldn’t get any better… it is healthy as well. It is packed with protein, gluten free, vegan and lastly YUMMY! Yes yummy also counts as a health factor;). It almost tastes like cake, it has a beautifully full soft texture, is super chocolatey and of course that delicious peanut butter mmm… but you can pretty much eat it for breakfast! Perfect right? Cake for breakfast is my favourite kind of breakfast!
Sometimes the only thing that can count even more than something being healthy is the fact that it doesn’t take long to make. This Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bread is one of those things that you can easily and quickly whip up if you have guests coming over, or if you simply feel like something “cakey” or sweet without all the effort. It must’ve taken me less than 10min to whip up and then you simply pop it into the oven for 45min and there you have it folks! Something that EVERYONE will love and that won’t mess up your new years resolutions.
