This healthy juice recipe is made using fresh fruit and vegetables so it is full of vibrant flavor and contains high levels of nutrients. It is a great way to ensure you are consuming a healthy amount of fruit and vegetables each day.

- Carrots. Easy to find at any time of the year and are a great affordable vegetable. Make sure you are using fresh carrots for sweetness and the best flavor.
- Oranges. Fresh, sweet oranges are best for juicing. So use whichever best quality oranges are seasonal and available to you. You can use any type of orange for this recipe including Naval oranges, Valencia oranges, Spanish oranges, or Cara Cara oranges.
Optional Additions
- Fresh ginger. I like to add a small knob of fresh ginger for a little extra flavor and kick. As well as some additional nutrients!
- Other juices. You could also add some fresh lemon juice and/or pineapple juice to add some brightness to your juice.
- Sweetness. If your orange carrot juice is not sweet enough for your preference, you can add some honey or apple juice to sweeten it.
Can you drink Orange & Carrot together?
Yes, yes, and yes! The flavors of orange & carrot work incredibly well together. The zesty, vibrant orange combines beautifully with the earthy, sweet carrots.

How To Make Homemade Fresh Carrot Orange Juice
This juice is so easy to make and contains just two simple ingredients: fresh carrots and fresh oranges. Both the ingredients are prepped and then placed in a juicer. You can find more details in the step-by-step instructions beow or in the recipe card at the bottom of this post.
STEP ONE
Cut the tops off the carrots and peel the oranges.
STEP TWO
Place the prepared carrots and oranges in a juicer. Juice according to instructions.
STEP THREE
Once juiced, refrigerate or serve immediately.
How to make Orange Carrot Juice without a Juicer (Blender Method)
- Cut the oranges in half and juice them. Then pour the juice into your blender.
- Trim the ends off your carrots and roughly chop them into 1-inch chunks. Add them to the blender.
- Blend on high for about a minute. Then place a fine sieve or nut milk bag over a bowl/jug. Pour batches of the juice through the sieve/bag and allow the juice to strain.
- Pour into serving glasses and enjoy immediately or place in the fridge for later use!
Serving Suggestions
I find this juice best-served cold, but it can also be served immediately. Just pour it into a glass and enjoy as is or add some ice cubes for an extra refreshing touch.
Alterations or Substitutions: This juice can easily be adapted according to your preferences. You can make this juice recipe a bit sweeter by using more oranges or adding fresh apples/apple juice. Or you could add celery to your juice to get even more vegetables in.
Ginger is also an optional addition as it adds a zesty kick that works perfectly with oranges and carrots. Fresh ginger also adds even more health benefits which is always a good thing!
Storage Instructions
This Carrot Orange juice is best enjoyed fresh, but it can last for up to three days in the fridge. It is best to store the fresh juice in an airtight container/jar.
