This fluffy, creamy Fig and Honey French Toast is exactly what your weekend needs. It is quick, delicious, and a lil luxurious - the perfect breakfast time treat!

There's something special about serving a beautiful breakfast to loved ones. It's a simple act that always brings a smile! I know breakfast is my favourite meal of the day so to be able to share that with someone brings me a lot of joy and starts the day off on a happy, happy note.

So if you haven't figured out your Father's Day plans yet my suggestion is BREAKFAST! Specifically, a massive pile of Fig and Honey French Toast! You will definitely be the favourite child! 😉

In my opinion, French toast is the king of all breakfasts. It is truly unbeatable! And believe me, I've tried my fair share of breakfast foods ( some might say I have an addiction). In this Fig and Honey French Toast recipe, this breakfast time royalty is made even more incredible by layering sweet figs and honeyed cream cheese between layers of fluffy French toast.

I've found that one of the key elements to amazing French toast is good, chunky slices of bread. It means the thick slices can soak up the eggy goodness without falling apart. Kitchen Inspire came through for me once again when I was trying out this recipe. They made sure I achieved slicing perfection with their bread knife. Always such a delight using their fab products!

So if you are enjoying some time with your father this Father's Day I can highly recommend whipping up a batch of these bad boys. Their creamy, fluffy, fruity deliciousness will guarantee a good time - whether it's breakfast time or not! Because breakfast food is great any time of the day!
