- Preheat oven and prepare pan. Preheat your oven to 375F/180C and line a muffin pan with paper liners.
- Sift dry ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Add wet ingredients. Add the eggs, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla extract.
- Mix together. Using a spoon or spatula, mix everything together until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips. Fold in the chocolate chips until equally distributed throughout the batter.
- Fill muffin pan. Fill each muffin liner ¾ way full with the batter.
