Ingredients in a Champagne Vodka Cocktail:
- Mint - Nothing tastes better than fresh mint in a cocktail. I make sure to use a cocktail muddler to really bring out that minty flavour.
- Lemon - I always prefer fresh lemon juice instead of store bought.
- Champagne - This one is totally up to you, I always prefer a less sweeter sparkling wine but it works with all kinds of champagnes.
- Lemon Cordial - My favourite is Roses Lemon Flavoured Cordial but any brand will work too.
- Vodka - Choose your favorite vodka brand here.
How to make the perfect cocktail:
- Always have the right tools on hand. A cocktail shaker and muddler is essential to make the best vodka champagne cocktail. Using a muddler to bring out the minty flavour is the best way to create the ultimate vodka cocktail.
- Don't be afraid of substitutions. Don't have lemons on hand? Try using limes or even a little pineapple juice. There are so many flavour variations so don't be afraid to play a little.
- Feeling like a non-alcoholic cocktail instead? Substitute the Champagne for sparkling water or even tonic water.
