Mini Beer Shots

Layered Mini Beer Shots are fun and tasty 2-ingredient cocktail shots. Made with Licor 43 liqueur and heavy cream, these shots may look like mini beers but don't actually have any beer in them!

Equipment

  • 1 shot glass

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounce Licor 43
  • ¾ ounce heavy cream

Instructions

  • These shots are best served chilled. So if you don't store your Licor 43 in the fridge, then first add the liqueur to a mixing glass filled with ice cubes. Stir together for 30 seconds to chill.
  • Pour your chilled Licor 43 into shot glasses or mini beer glasses.
  • Slowly pour the heavy cream over the back of a spoon to float it on top of the Licor 43. Enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • We recommend using angled jiggers to make it easy to pour accurately into the small shot glasses.
  • If you don't have any heavy cream, half and half will create the same look and feel. Just be sure to lightly whip the half and half as the added air will help it sit on top of the liqueur layer.
  • You don't need to store Licor 43 in the refrigerator. But it is recommended to chill your bottle for at least 45 minutes before using it in this recipe.
  • If you are having trouble creating defined layers, try whipping it lightly with a whisk or milk frother to make it even lighter and easier to make its own layer.
