Chocolate Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked quinoa
  • 2 cups milk
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 pinch salt

Toppings

  • Chopped FUTURELIFE High Protein SMARTBAR or any other protein bar of your choice
  • Figs quartered
  • Strawberries quartered
  • Drizzle of milk

Instructions 

  • In a saucepan, add the quinoa and milk.
  • Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes. (Quinoa should be fluffy and tender.)
  • Add the cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla essence, and salt.
  • Stir until well combined and then divide between 2 - 4 bowls.
  • Add the toppings and enjoy!
