Fig and Honey French Toast

Ingredients

French Toast

  • 6 eggs
  • ½ cup cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 4 - 6 slices bread

Cream Cheese Filling

  • 250 grams cream cheese
  • 4 tablespoon honey
  • 6 - 8 fresh figs sliced

Instructions 

  • Whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, sugar, and vanilla essence.
  • Soak the bread in the egg mixture for 2 - 4 minutes.
  • Fry the soaked bread over a medium heat until golden brown on both sides. 

Cream Cheese Filling

  • Mix together the cream cheese and honey until soft and spreadable.
  • Layer cream cheese filling and figs between the slices of French toast.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
