Lavender Panna Cotta

Ingredients

  • ¼ Cup Cold Water
  • 2 ¼ teaspoon powdered gelatin
  • 2 Cups Cream
  • ¼ Castor Sugar
  • 11/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon dried lavender
  • Purple food colouring optional

Instructions 

  • Place the cold water and gelatine powder in a small bowl and set aside for 5-10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, combine the cream, sugar, vanilla extract and lavender in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  • Allow the mixture to simmer for a few minutes then remove the saucepan from the heat.
  • Stir in the gelatine mixture and food colouring if adding pour into 4 small glasses and place in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
  • Decorate with fresh lavender.
