Baked Chocolate Cake Donuts Topped With Nutella Glaze

Ingredients

For the Donuts:

  • 3 Eggs
  • 245 g Sugar
  • 100 g Flour
  • 55 g Cocoa Powder sifted
  • 135 ml Milk
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 160 g Butter soft
  • 2 teaspoon Baking Powder

For the Nutella Glaze:

  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Nutella
  • 4-6 teaspoon Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • Nuts or Sprinkles to top optional

Instructions 

For the Donuts:

  • Preheat oven to 180ºC/350ºF and spray Donut Pan with non-stick spray.
  • Combine the milk,eggs and vanilla together.
  • In another bowl, sift the dry ingredients together.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the milk mixture a little at a time, alternating with the butter.
  • Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
  • Spoon the batter into the donut pans until they are about ¾ full.
  • Bake the donuts for 10-15min or until a fork inserted comes out clean.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before glazing.

For the Nutella Glaze:

  • Mix all the ingredients together until smooth.
  • Dunk each donut into the glaze and place on a wire rack to dry slightly.
  • Sprinkle with nuts.
  • Devour.
