Heat half the oil and butter in a skillet over a high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 3 - 4 minutes and then remove from the skillet.
Add the remaining oil and butter to the skillet. Once heated, add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add the shrimp and pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
