Chia Pudding with Mixed Berries
I feel like I could write a book about chia pudding. I have become somewhat of an expert on the subject and I say this because I have made and eaten all kinds of chia puddings.
From blueberry to matcha and even peanut butter. Whatever flavour of chia pudding there is out there, I have found it and made it and most importantly, eaten it!
I just really love the idea of chia pudding. It tastes like dessert, you can create literally any flavour you want, and it is always healthy! I mean come on guys! Isn’t that amazing?
Making a chia pudding with berries
One of the most popular chia puddings on the blog is my Vanilla Blueberry Chia Pudding, and I totally agree with you guys because it is darn delicious. So I am doing a little variation on that today.
I have made an incredibly delicious Simple Berry Chia Pudding. This recipe is awesome because you can use whatever berries you have at home and in the freezer.
Right now it is winter on this side of the world, so fresh berries are a little scarce. So I simply used a bag of frozen mixed berries that I found in my freezer.
I then picked out a few of the raspberries and broke those into small pieces so that I can add that to the almond milk. I love having a few of those tangy raspberry pieces throughout the chia pudding because it just adds a little extra flavour and texture.
Lastly, all I did was top the chia pudding with a delicious mixture of berries. Berries always look so fresh and beautiful on top but I like mixing them into the chia pudding when I eat it. Mmmm I’m totally craving one right now.
