I’ve always been a big macadamia fan, especially Macadamia Butter. I love the almost sweet taste this nut seems to produce and the way it becomes so creamy without being too thick.
So therefore I felt that Homemade Macadamia Milk had to be attempted. I’ve always preferred Macadamia Butter to Almond Butter, so I was sure that I would feel the same way about Macadamia Milk. And I must say, I do think I was right (which is not a very common occurrence).
The milk is so incredibly quick and easy to make and so creamy and fresh. I thought while I’m at it I might as well give it a go at making Chocolate Macadamia Milk, which is also really delicious and the perfect afternoon indulgence, it goes perfect with cookies… especially my favourite Peanut Butter Oat Cookies. Chocolate Macadamia Milk is really a perfect substitute for that normal, processed, unhealthy and incredibly sweet chocolate milk one buys at the store, especially for kids. It still tastes great and is insanely healthy.
Macadamias are packed with energy and fiber. They also contain good fats which aid in weight-loss. So they really are perfect for anyone wanting to have a yummy glass of milk with their cookies or simply as a healthy, vegan addition to your coffee. Homemade Macadamia Milk is also perfect as a substitute for milk in recipes or over your cereal or granola.
