Greek Yoghurt Mango Smoothie – A delicious refreshing breakfast smoothie recipe with a vegan option.
Tomorrow is my first day at chef school… aaaah! I’m not sure if I’m nervous, excited or both. It is always a bit stressful starting something new, meeting new people and taking on a new challenge. But I am definitely up for the challenge. I can’t wait to learn a whole bunch of new skills and get inspired by all the amazing people there.
Anyway, I know that I am going to be insanely busy, trying to balance Pastry School and blogging and working. So I have tried to come up with a few on the go meals and smoothies that will keep me full and powered up and that aren’t packed with sugar. My go to for on-the-go breakfasts is always Chia Puddings, so I’ve got that sorted with my favourite Choc-Hazelnut Chia Pudding and the Salted Caramel Pecan Chia Pudding. And then I’m getting a whole range of smoothies lined up with Mango Berry Smoothie, the Super Green Smoothie, this Cinnamon Roll Smoothie and now this simply delicious Greek Yoghurt Mango Smoothie. I love this smoothie because I love mango obviously, but the yoghurt gives it such a lovely smooth texture and most of all it really makes you feel nice and full. I love using greek yoghurt because it really makes the smoothie feel like a meal, but as a vegan alternative, you could easily swop the greek yoghurt out for some delicious Homemade Coconut Yoghurt. It works just as well and tastes all tropical and delicious. The mango and coconut flavours compliment each other perfectly.
So as you can see I am all ready and prepped to stay healthy and full while I go on this new adventure. There’s nothing worse than falling off the wagon when your life changes a little and ending feeling tired and lethargic the whole time. Wish me luck!!
